The Guitar Rig program however might be the bright spot. I think its just a resource issue, but I never pursued it. I experienced a lot of trouble with getting most of the Reaktor synths to run smoothly on my system. I rarely use it because the program is just so frustrating to me. I added Scarbee P-Bass, which works in the player edition and is a pretty good sounding instrument. The vast majority of the more desirable ones require the full version of Kontakt and don't work in the player edition. There are thousands of NI and third party add on libraries and instruments. They would have probably been more interesting/useful if the interface wasn't so frustrating. My impression: The player edition of Kontakt contained a simple drum set (Abbey road) and a few basic instrument libraries. (some basic instruments and sample libraries.) And as I recall a $25 coupon toward additional NI purchases. (All available free by the way.) And some additional content. The bundle included the player editions of Kontakt, Reaktor and Guitar Rig. I Don't remember installation specifics, but yes, they will appear in your VSTi menus list once installed. (Since the regular version of Komplete starts around $500.)
